Why Teach A Dog To Love That Mat

You'll find that teaching your puppy to love his mat is one of the most useful behaviors.  You can have him go to his mat while you're sitting on the couch resting from the day, or on his mat while you're cooking.  
Want to bring him to a friends house?  Bring your mat so you can help him know where to go.  
Going to Starbucks to enjoy a coffee outside on a nice day?  Bring your mat.
